FA College Starts 

  • Transport is paid for
  • Uniform/kit is provided? 

S1 Extracurricular Fayre  

 

  • S1 pupils find out about all the clubs on offer at Trinity, meet staff and pupil leaders and collect paper consent forms.  
  • Many clubs run at lunchtime and provide all the equipment.  
  • S1 are given a Welcome Pack, introduced to COSD supports at Trinity and how to access the support.  Meet key staff involved. 

S1 Wellbeing Family Learning 

  • Parents/carers are offered transport and the opportunity to bring siblings to make this as accessible as possible 
  • Families find out about COSD supports in school and meet key staff and partners such as  Money Matters, Office Staff and YFCL  
  • Parents can sign pupils up for clubs or take away a schedule removing any barriers to digital access. 

Parent Council Meeting 

  • DHT Equity presents termly COSD/Equity update to parent council. 
  • Parent council distribute to wider parent forum. 
  • Council feedback COSD concerns for families and offer ideas and suggestions. 

S5 Geography Trip 

  • No cost trip 
  • Warm, waterproof clothing required; you can speak to pupil support teacher or Mrs Simpson to borrow. 

Senior Awards Ceremony 

  • No cost event 
  • Uniform: many pupils like wearing blazers to this event; pupils are reminded this is optional and how to access a preloved blazer in the uniform cupboard 

ACN Youth Rally 

  • No cost trip 
  • Pupils wear school uniform to trip. 

COSD Secondary Pupil Network 

  • COSD pupil group connect virtually to the COSD network to share ideas with pupils from other high schools across Scotland and ensure their voice is heard.

  • Free activities: photo booth, colouring, choir performance

  • Anyone who wishes to see their young person perform, please contact pupil support teacher if cost is an issue. 

S1-3 Fun Day 

  • No cost activity day.  Wear PE Kit.  Pupil devised Christmas fun day to allow all pupils to celebrate their hard work over the term.  Christmas Jumper optional; ask Mrs Simpson for a sustainable jumper if you’d like. 

Christmas Ceilidh 

  • No cost activity.  Health promoting fun end to the term.

Ash Wednesday 

  • During our Lenten period, the school works hard to support our Lenten charities.  As well as monetary donations, all our young people can demonstrate our School Value of charity in supporting, promoting and organising our support for these charities in a number of ways. 

Pi Day 

  • In school fun event with free activities to enjoy 

Spring Fling 

  • £20 a ticket.  Low-cost fun event with food, refreshments and music.  Anyone wanting to attend, please contact pupil support if cost is an issue and we can arrange payment.

S6 Leavers’ Mass 

  • No cost, in school event to celebrate the end of the school journey in a special mass. Family members welcome. 

S6 Breakfast 

  • No cost, in school event to mark the end of the school journey. 
  • Hoodies and yearbooks can be purchased.  Please speak to Pupil Support if you would like one of these but cost is an issue. 

SQA Exams 

  • Stationery Trolley stocked with highlighters, flashcards, pens, pencils and notebooks to ensure everyone is prepared.   
  • Study room available at school with ICT access throughout the period. 

Year Group School Trips 

  • (Dates tbc) S1-3 are offered the chance to go on a year group trip for less than £10.  There will be no cost for young people entitled to financial support.  If cost is an issue for any reason, please contact pupil support and we can arrange payment.

  • Transport provided to and from the school 
  • Car washing fund-raiser has reduced ticket price 

School Show
